Follow-up Consultation
Ayurvedic treatment is not a one-off. Follow-up consultations let the doctor see how you are responding, adjust the plan and decide when to step treatment up or down.

Why Follow-up Matters
Long-term outcomes are what count. Small studies of Ayurvedic treatment for fibromyalgia in Norway reported improvements at six months [1], and a 24-month pilot follow-up found that some benefits were maintained [2]; these were small uncontrolled studies, so the results are encouraging rather than conclusive. Structured follow-up is also built into recent randomised trials of whole-system Ayurveda programmes [3, 4].

Frequently Asked Questions
How often do I need follow-ups?
It depends on your plan. Commonly every few weeks during active treatment, then less often.
Can I do a follow-up by phone?
Please ask our team. Some reviews can be done by phone, but examinations need an in-person visit.
What if I feel better: can I stop?
Talk to the doctor first. Some medicines are tapered, and a maintenance plan helps prevent relapse.
